Eth Ha Adam – the Two Adams Teaching Debunked!

there is no 8th day creation...

The Chapel teaches that there were two distinct creations of man. The 6th day creation, or the “ethnos” and the 8th day “Adam” of who Christ and the Hebrews were to come…

One thing we really need to grasp is that this interpretation of the bible IS inherently wrong, even racist as it implies the majority of humanity didn’t come Adam and Eve.

Further, the teaching itself comes from racist origins and leads to racist conclusions. Not coincidentally, this notion of a 6th and 8th day creation can be found in the Kabbalah and in the writings of Helena Blavatsky, famed theosophist…

There are other curious similarities between Babylonian Kabalistic mystery religion (a.k.a. Theosophy) and what the Chapel teaches such as the ineffable magical name of God ‘YHVH’.

But back to the “two Adams” teaching, it is a significant contributor to the Christian Identity movement. Christian Identity falls under the umbrella of Christian Dominionism. It is beast religion and satanic to the bone and is under the spiritual control of the Roman whore.

Christian Identity adherent gravitate towards Murray like moths to a flame on account of teachings like this…

We’ll find this particular doctrine expounded in his Genesis series. There’s so many lies in that one set of tapes – it baffles the mind. According to this position God created mankind in general on the 6th day, the indigenous races. Then on the 8th day God created Adam, where fairer skinned folk come in. This is British Israelism 101.

Pandora’s Box opens up from here… how did the races survive the flood? Was the flood global or local? These are themes that Murray addresses over and over. Secretly Murray taught a local flood but to risk alienating people he also taught that Noah took the different races on the ark.

God says take two of each flesh, he reasons that the Kenites and other races were included in this commandment.

But what does the bible teach? Does it teach that the races were created on the 6th day and that on the 8th day God created the fairer skinned people?

How did Paul the Apostle understand this issue? Did he believe in two separate creations of man like Murray teaches?

“And hath made of one blood all nations of men for to dwell on all the face of the earth, and hath determined the times before appointed, and the bounds of their habitation;” – Acts 17:26

The answer is no. He believed that all men descended from Adam and Eve.

“And Adam called his wife’s name Eve; because she was the mother of all living.” – Genesis 3:20

So who are you going to believe? Murray twisted and distorted the whole of scripture to fit his man-made system of religion. If you are one his student’s and you claim to have a love of the truth then it’s time for you to begin to radically question and reject almost everything this man has taught… your soul depends on it.

Winning the Battle: the Many-Headed Hydra of Jesuit Futurism

hydra

It has been over 8 months since I have even looked at this blog. In many respects it is a closed case. I have truly said all that needs to be said in order for someone that truly wants deliverance from error to be saved.

I have shared my testimony of how the Lord Jesus Christ delivered from one deception and sin after another and given every detail… but I feel there is more that needs to be said because we are getting into some of the most impenetrable areas of falsehood that the devils ever invented and it affects us all.

My earnest desire is that my readers who are tangled up in this mire of false religion will break free.

I want to say this, it has been almost twelve years since I first started to see the light of freedom in Jesus Christ from this cult and to this day I still battle the demon of FUTURISM. This is the ultimate poison that the Chapel instills and it is the spiritual essence of the beast, it is a many-headed Hydra that pulls its victims into the depths.

Futurism was created by Jesuits in the 16th century in order to obscure the reality that the dynasty of the papacy was the prophetic Antichrist. The Reformers knew this. Through futurism the world is either pulled into ecumenism or prophetic fantasy religion that strengthens the hand of Rome through blindness.

The center-piece of Chapel teaching is this fantastical notion that Satan will descend from the Heavens in the future as the Antichrist at the 6th trumpet with god-like powers of persuasion and deception. The structure of this lie was given theological strength by the intellectual shock troops of the beast… the Jesuits, a bloody and hellish corps of devils.

This doctrine of futurism was later “Protestantized” by the dispensationalists of whom the Chapel is a pure and unadulterated expression.

It is the height of fantasy religion and if you are caught up in it you are being ROBBED. The Antichrist as you understand him will never come – the man of sin has already been revealed.

What the Lord brought to my attention in my time away is that I too in much of my writing was still swayed by Rome’s poison that was delivered to me by the Chapel even after all this time and conscientious effort to break free.

I will be updating the blog to reflect these changes and my pitched war and repudiation of Jesuit futurism which the Chapel is a 100% devotee. They are an unwitting tool of the beast. I want you to see these things.

The war you are waiting for is already here.

You see the false doctrine of futurism puts adherents at peace with the biblical Antichrist by pointing their attention to a fictional comic book character that will never come… and while the Christians have their heads turned the Roman beast continues to devour the world.

ALL of Shepherd’s Chapel FALSE Teachings – Comprehensive List

truthlies

Shepherd’s Chapel has a comprehensive, systematic, FALSE theology that must be unraveled. All of his lies are interlinked and build on another. The thing that makes it difficult do deal with is correctly apprehending what he does teach that is true. You must distinctly rely on the Holy Spirit to help you discern what is scriptural and what is not.

Some of what Murray teaches is biblical, for instance his expose on the pretribulation rapture… but so what? There are a multitude of good Christian teachers who expose this lie without all the garbage.

Many students complain to me saying that Murray simply teaches the bible – this is naïve. Look at what he is saying that the scripture means… put it all together and you will see, he has created his own religion.

The following is an exhaustive list of many of the heretical teachings and malignant errors disseminated by the Chapel. This list is by no means fully complete. Here we go!

* strange millennial teachings – Murray has his own spectacular variety of the millennial teaching that features who else? Him and his followers whom he calls the Zadok. Premillennialism however was condemned at the council of Ephesus long ago. Christ reigns in heaven upon Davids throne, ruling the nations with a rod of iron, right now!

* nonphysical resurrection for believers and Jesus Christ – this heresy is a big one, it shows us the strong gnostic undercurrents in Murray’s teaching. Murray commonly teaches that believers will experience no bodily resurrection. Murray teaches when a Christian dies, their spirit body resurrects and goes immediately to heaven and that is the resurrection. The flesh returns to dust forever. Murray teaches that Christ’s resurrection need not be bodily but was merely spiritual.

* No such thing as original sin due to Adam’s rebellion – According to Arnold Murray the only original sin was when Eve had sex with the serpent and sired Cain or when Satan rebelled in the first earth age. This denial of the true nature of original sin has staggering implications. Romans 5:15-21 teaches that Adam’s sin was imputed to every one as a result of the fall.

* annihilationism: no literal conscious eternal hell – according to the chapel the lake of fire is figurative, so the lost person need no worry if they don’t believe… God will simply burn them to a crisp instantly and they will go up into a puff of smoke, you will simply cease to exist. The bible teaches that hell is a literal place of eternal conscious suffering.

* pre-existence of souls in the first age – Murray has an elaborate speculative theology based upon the premise that we were angels on earth during a vast time of pre-existence, where a rebellion took place. Souls must be ‘born from above’ into this flesh body to undergo testing. Though God knew of our existence from the foundation of the world our spirit wasn’t with God in any sense before this life – He formed our spirit within us when we were in the womb as it says in Zechariah.

* Modalism, or Sabellian heresy, one God in 3 aspects – was condemned strongly by the early church. Pastor Murray rejects the orthodox doctrine of the Godhead that God is one being in three co-equal co-eternal persons. For Murray, Jesus incarnation was merely the Father being incarnate. God is simply one person that manifests himself in three different offices. This is flaming heresy.

* Open theism, God either cannot or will not know the future – In other words God is not omniscient, therefore not God. God because of man’s free will cannot fully know the future or God limits his knowledge so that man can remain free. I once recall Murray teaching about how God didn’t know what decision Adam and Eve would make in the garden. He commonly teaches that man has free will in salvation and that God chooses not to know what decision man will make. God only knows what choice the 144,000 will make who he says were justified in a previous earth age.

* Pelagian heresy – This is an overemphasizing of man’s free will in the process of regeneration. It also asserts that human free will was not tainted by the fall, recall that Murray rejects original sin. Since Murray taught that only 144,000 are the elect, for whom salvation was given before the “overthrow”. Those souls outside of that, not being predestined to salvation, are saved by virtue of their own free will. Murray would make your head spin in his explanation of justification and election. The elect were justified for their performance in the first rebellion…

* Being born again not regeneration – being “born again”, or born from above as Murray points out is not a reference to regeneration. It means to be born into this body from another spiritual age… this is such an idiotic teaching that I fail to find the words to express it.

* Mark of the Beast – He states that those who are deceived into taking the mark can amend their position by works in the millennium with a second chance. The bible says that it is precisely those who receive the mark who will be damned.

* 6th day & 8th day man in Genesis are not the same, Eth ha adam – this insane doctrine is a favorite of Christian identity bigots who latch onto any lie they can to make themselves feel superior. It teaches that the swarthy masses of indigenous people were made on the 6th day… on the 8th day God created Adam to rule over the heathen. Yet, the bible says Eve is the mother of all living and the nations came from one blood. How did the races survive the flood?

* Noah’s flood was a local event – Murray has two positions on this. Secretly, for Murray the flood was not worldwide… but on the broadcast he commonly teaches that Noah took two of each flesh on the ark (Kenites and other races are flesh too but not of the same class of human as Noah). God sent a local flood simply to knock out the race of hybrid Nephilim who he claims were the result of fallen angels and humans procreating. Using Fredrick Haberman’s book Tracing Our Ancestors, Murray argues the flood happened in the Pamir plateau region in the Himalayas. The Kenites either were on the boat or fled the area as they were not effected by the flood…

* Earth and cosmos are millions and billions of years old – Murray definitely denies that the earth is recent creation. He must do this in order to have an immense prehistory for a rebellion to take place… he also does it win over scientifically minded people who really don’t like the thought of the earth being young. However, creation is as old as the bible states, or it is all a lie.

* Gap Theory – Murray commonly teaches about the three earth ages. He uses a collection of distorted texts to prove that there is gap of millions of year of time between Genesis 1:1-2. During this immense era of history Satan’s rebellion took place. The gap theory is used by bad theologians to prove that the earth is millions of years old.

* Serpent Seed, the Kenites, wicked pseudo Jews – In this teaching, Eve is not merely deceived by the devil in the garden to eat fruit, he has sex with her and sires a race of evil humans. The tree of life and knowledge of good and evil are Jesus and Satan respectively. As a result of this illicit union Eve becomes pregnant with Cain, the father of a murderous race of demonic hybrids who will plague humanity until the end of time. Murray calls them the Kenites and makes them responsible for all manner of evil… according to him these are the false Jews who rule the world.

* God rides around in a pimped out UFO – Murray teaches that UFO’s are referenced in the bible and that God and the angels ride around in highly polished bronze flying vehicles… this lie is setting his followers up to accept the end-time deception which will feature a staged alien disclosure scenario.

* Genesis 6 , nephilim Hybrids, fallen angels having sex – very popular notion these day; essentially the fallen angels in an attempt to overthrow God came to earth to have sex with women and thus pollute the gene pool of humanity. Physical and moral monstrosities were the result of these unions. God then sent the flood of Noah to destroy the hybrids. Once the flood had ended, the other fallen angels resumed their practice of illicit sex. These Nephilim or those with the blood of Nephilim play a big part in human history and work alongside the Kenites. In our modern parlance people like David Icke would call these beings Reptilians.

* Gospel in the Stars, truth of scripture found encoded in the zodiac – one of Murray’s biggest influences is E.W. Bullinger a 19th century theologian and contemporary to C.I. Scofield. Bullinger popularized the gospel in the stars. It’s the teaching that God told Adam the story of redemption in advance and the patriarchs encoded this story in the Zodiac. Over time the Zodiac was paganized and the message was lost. Bullinger recovered the corrupted knowledge. It is a perfect example of Christian Gnosticism.

* Biblical numerology is a form of divination for Murray – in the occult world, especially Kabbalah, numerolgy is an essential form of witchcraft. Ascribing arbitrary meaning to numbers which then in turn is used to support false ideas. With Murray it is a form of divination. Murray relies heavily on biblical numeric to trick meanings and support his errors. Numbers do not have meaning in and of themselves. Though the bible uses numbers in thought provoking ways, it never comes out and explicitly tells us what any number means.

* British Israelism – a theological form of British Imperialism, it is a core deception of the Chapel. It teaches that the lost tribes of Israel are the white European and Americans. Ultimately the Hebrews migrated to America and Britain and other places where Caucasians abide. It is from these people whom the Elect, the 144000 from the book of Revelation will come…

* Only the 144,000 are elect – the most asinine arrogant teaching of Arnold. His tape on election proves what a flaming heretic he is. He says that Romans 8:28-30 doesn’t refer to the church but merely to 144,000 Hebrews who sided with God in the first earth age. The other Christians are saved by their free will and are not predestined or elect. These 144,000 are the ones whose names are written from the foundation (or Katabole). In fact other places that mention the elect are talking about the same group!

* The 7,000 “very elect”, or the Zadokian Priesthood – Murray says initially even the 144,000 will be deceived into false worship of the beast. Only the “very elect” won’t be deceived – they are the 7,000 of Romans who didn’t bow a knee to Baal. These are the Crème de la Crème in Murray’s psychopathic vision. They will rule the millennial temple…

* Foundations of the World, The Katabole, or the “Overthrow” – teaches that when the bible refers to “foundations of the world”, it is referring to the cataclysmic overthrow or destruction of the world as a result of Satan’s rebellion. This is a foundational doctrine – he gets this interpretation directly from E.W. Bullinger. The Greek word katabole doesn’t mean what Murray says. It means foundation.

* Pyramidology, Great Pyramid built by Israelites – in the wacked out idea we find out that the Pyramids are not blasphemous monuments to mystery religion but divinely inspired structures encoded with hidden revelation from God…

* throne of David located in Britain, British Monarchy sits on it – this is where the chapel starts to get really insane; a whole elaborate theology about Judah’s two sons Perez and Zerah and their migrations to Britain. In essence the British Royal throne is David’s throne and Christ is slated to be seated on that throne in the millennium.

* Stone of Destiny – directly tied to this, is Jacob’s pillar. Jeremiah brought Jacob’s stone and one of the king’s daughter’s to Ireland after the destruction of Jerusalem… this one of the ways they lend credence to the claim that the British monarchy descends from Judah and has rightful rulership.

* The word ‘Easter’ in Acts is not a mistranslation – Arnold says that the word “Easter” in Acts 12:4 was incorrectly translated. He implies Kenites manipulated the text. The implication is that the KJV English version is not completely inspired and that we need Greek scholars like Murray to correctly translate the bible. The KJV scholars actually interpreted the word ‘Easter’ correctly.

* Endorsing and promoting the apocryphal books and other uninspired pseudopigraphal writings.

* 1/3 stars in Revelation – teaches that these stars are the souls who rebelled in the first earth age and are born into the flesh at the end of the age to worship the beast, this influx began in 1967, according to Murray. It doesn’t take a rocket scientist to realize that we are dealing with vintage religious idiocy.

* the whole tribulation will be shortened to period of 5 months – Murray reasons that for the elects sake the days will be shortened means the 5 month period of the locusts. The great tribulation will be shortened to 2.5 months. When the bible refers to 42 months, 1260 days, et al. it is really talking about a 2.5 month period.

* Deaths spoken of in the book of Revelation are spiritual and not physical – for Murray the tribulation is not a time of martyrdom and physical death. For instance in the 6th trumpet when 1/3 of humanity is killed – it is simply talking about spiritual death. But never fear! If you die spiritually or even take the mark during the tribulation you can make up for it in the millennium.

* second chance millennium – for Murray the millennium is about people on earth during the tribulation who never had a chance, receiving a second chance. We find out that no one really had a chance to begin with because of Satan’s powers of deception. In other words, if you take the mark (which is really just serving the beast) you will get an opportunity in the millennium to work your way back into God’s good graces. Albeit Murray and his Zadok will be ruling at that time and they are going putting everyone through spiritual bootcamp, so get ready to earn your salvation!

* ALL angels incarnate as humans during this age – all angels that is except for Lucifer, and as a result he will be the so called antichrist.

* first beast system, 2nd beast Satan – Murray teaches that the first beast is merely a reference to a world system and not the man of sin. The second beast on the other hand is Lucifer himself in a supernatural body and he will come here to tempt humanity for 5 months…

* Blasphemy of the Holy Spirit – this is when the elect are delivered up before the synagogue of Satan during the tribulation and refuse to all God to speak through them. Only the elect can commit it – recall that the elect are 144,000 white Caucasian Hebrews.

* Speaking in tongues conversely – Teaches two different tongues. The Pentecost tongue is when the elect are delivered up in the tribulation and allow the Holy Spirit to speak through them on international television… all the people of the world will be watching! And they will understand perfectly. The tongue of Corinthians 14 is merely speaking about the ability to acquire different languages, like Murray, nothing more.

* Non Kosher meats are not to be eaten – for Murray the health laws regarding Kosher meats are still binding in a sense for the new testament believer. So, no more porkchops for you Anglo-Israelites out there. This ignores tons of new testament stipulations regarding food and drink. We are free from OT health laws. Eat whatever you want (within reason) and give God thanks.

* The 5th trumpet sounded in 1967 or 1982 – Category 5 hurricane Camille was a sign of the 5th trumpet sounding, the Mt. Saint Helens in 1982… okay Murray, whatever you say, I’m sure they will believe it.

I am nowhere near being through with this list. I will keep adding to it…

Reader Exhortation from JohnyC about the Shepherd’s Chapel

“Take no part in the unfruitful works of darkness, but instead expose them.” – Ephesians 5:11

In 2005 the Lord Jesus Christ delivered me from the Shepherd’s Chapel web of false doctrines. Since that time I have been reaching out to others caught up in this. Jesus Christ shed his blood to forgive of us from the sin of religious idolatry, partaking of and spreading false teaching. When the Lord convicted me for my involvement with the Chapel I became very ashamed for the people I had led astray and sought to reach out and warn them…

There are others who have similar experiences where the Holy Spirit led them to reject the Chapel. Reader JohnyC is the latest to put forth his exhortation… he notes how the Chapel twists the doctrine of the resurrection and gives a special warning at the end,

I started to listen to Murray back in 1994. I used to love the Shepherd’s Chapel because he read the bible verse by verse. But what continually bothered me… it never failed, he would always gravitate back to attacking the “Kenites” and pushing other of his pet doctrines.

His teachings resembled more of the Pharisee’s mentality with so much emphasis on the flesh and genealogy. He was always twisting everything to fit the Christian Identity cult mentality.

Now I know the truth, the New Covenant is unlike the Old. While the Old Covenant was all about following rules and sacrifices, the New covenant is about the spirit and faith.

I hate how he twisted Corinthians 5:8 where it says, “…we are confident, I say, and willing rather to be absent from the body, and to be present with the Lord…” with something like, “to be absent from the body is to be present with the Lord at the moment of death” Paul uses clothing imagery to describe our bodies. We currently wear a mortal body, but in God’s presence at the resurrection we “must put on” an immortal one.

All I have to say if you are a Shepherd’s Chapel follower and you have a feeling that their teachings do not match with the scripture, listen to that inner voice because it is the Holy Spirit trying to save you from their web of lies.

Testimony of Former Chapel Student – ServantOfChrist2014

SoC

“A single witness shall not rise up against a man on account of any iniquity or any sin which he has committed; on the evidence of two or three witnesses a matter shall be confirmed.” – Deuteronomy 19:15

The following is reader testimony from ServantOfChrist2014, she has a blog exposing some of the key errors of the Chapel and also shares her testimony of deliverance…

servantofchrist2014blog.wordpress.com

Hey, ex-murray “follower” here. I just want to say that I am so so glad the Holy Spirit led me out of this completely blasphemous so called church. I was misled mostly by the idea that we were a special group that knew the real truth and we were of the few who “got it”. It felt good to be a part of a family of like minded people, that’s what ultimately appealed to me. But as time went on, I grew more and more confused by the heretical and disgustingly false teachings of Murray.

I was a member of various social media groups who identified themselves as “Shepherd’s Chapel students” for about four years. But something always gnawed at me and I felt like I was dumb and couldn’t possibly come to the knowledge of the “Truth” Murray taught. Particularly the serpent seed doctrine and how Murray claimed Satan had sex with Eve in the garden and that Cain and Abel were twins. No matter how many times I tried to study their way and understand how they got that out of Genesis, I just couldn’t be convinced.

Furthermore, I wrestled with the idea of a sect called the Kenites that were supposedly a race of people directly descended from Cain (& Satan) that were alive and well today and are the ones responsible for much of the tumult in the middle east. Looking back all this is totally laughable. I mean downright hilarious now that I have repented and have been brought out of that mess.

But what really bothered me is that Murray subtly taught a form of racism through his Christian identity teachings. After getting into some very heated debates on social media with other followers, I was told I was biblically illiterate, a babe in the word and that was the cause of my “unbelief”.

They became hostile when I dared question why they kept parroting Murray’s every word all the time. And ultimately completely turned me off to being part of their so called “Christian” group. If you ever have a chance and want to see what I mean, get on Facebook and find one of their groups and argue just one small teaching and see how hateful and downright rude and obnoxious these people are!

Anyways, please, if you are following this false church, I pray you leave immediately! Think about it, do your research on your own and NEVER ignore the small voice that keeps telling you something is wrong! It took me four years to listen. I can’t get those years back, but oh what a valuable lesson God taught me. You must never ever trust anyone’s word over the Bible and the Holy Spirit’s guidance! Is it really worth going to eternal hell for?

The Church IS the Promised Kingdom!

hqdefault

“The visible church, which is also catholic or universal under the gospel … is the kingdom of the Lord Jesus Christ” -The Westminster Confession of Faith 25:2

In the days of those kings the God of heaven will set up a kingdom which will never be destroyed, and that kingdom will not be left for another people; it will crush and put an end to all these kingdoms, but it will itself endure forever.” – Daniel 2:44

The New Testament Church, the body of Jesus Christ IS the promised kingdom of the Old Testament. I become very irritated with false religion as it seeks to usurp the promises that apply to God’s true people, the elect…

“Beware lest any man spoil you through philosophy and vain deceit, after the tradition of men, after the rudiments of the world, and not after Christ.” – Colossians 2:8

That word “spoil” is ROB. That is what false religion seeks to do.

Dispensational premillennialism seeks to do just that and as we have covered, the Chapel is a hideous permutation of that system of interpretation. They reject the notion that the Kingdom is the Church and assert that they are the fulfillment of these promises during a future earthly millennial reign.

The reality is, the promised Kingdom began during Christ’s ministry and was inaugurated on Pentacost Day. Later in history God begins to crush and remove stumbling blocks at the feet of the Church.

70 A.D. for instance, with the destruction of the Jewish temple and sacrificial system which was an utter abomination after Christ’s death. Then later in 312 A.D. we have the Edict of Milan with Constantine legalizing Christianity in the Roman empire essentially Christianizing it. Then in 476 A.D. the fall of the Roman empire later… these are all good historic corollaries to the stone striking the image upon the foot.

In our time the “little horn” (who is the Roman Papal power) will attempt to destroy Protestant Christian religion by undermining these false expectations latent within futuristic systems of prophecy. The Jesuits and the Papacy are the creators of futurism for the express purpose of turning the finger of judgment away from Rome.

So what better way to hinder and thwart the kingdom of God’s advance than by telling the elect that they are not a party to the promises of scripture pertaining to them?

And that is exactly what is happening.

In fact, this assault of Rome upon the church becomes so bad and so effective that in the end we see something devastating take place when Satan is released for a short time – but the gates of hell will be turned back… This is called the Occult Millennium or Golden Age of Gaia – the Omega X conspiracy is based upon this.

The Promised Kingdom of Daniel is the Body of Christ, the Church

Let’s go back to this scriptural concept of the church being the promised kingdom. We are told by premillennialists that this is future to us. But what does the New Testament say?

“Who hath delivered us from the power of darkness, and hath translated us into the kingdom of his dear Son:” – Colossians 1:13

There is only one Kingdom of Christ, and He reigns right now – that is the millennium. Jesus Christ, seated at the right hand of God upon David’s throne reigning with his saints in heaven and on earth… ruling the nations with a rod of iron. That is NOW!

“But every man in his own order: Christ the firstfruits; afterward they that are Christ’s at his coming. Then cometh the end, when he shall have delivered up the kingdom to God, even the Father; when he shall have put down all rule and all authority and power. For he must reign, till he hath put all enemies under his feet. The last enemy that shall be destroyed is death.” – 1st Corinthian 15:23-26

He is reigning now friends. When He returns everything will be finished. Read the text carefully. Christ present reign IS the millennium.

The premillennialist’s will either say that there are two kingdoms or that the promised kingdom is not in effect. They assert that the church and Israel are forever distinct. Murray comes onto the scene with British Israelism and makes his cult the fulfillment of dispensational premillennial error… what a sham!

Resurrection Heresy of the Shepherd’s Chapel

feature2fallmosaic

“Behold, I shew you a mystery; We shall not all sleep, but we shall all be changed, in a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trump: for the trumpet shall sound, and the dead shall be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed.” – 1st Corinthians 15:51-52

The resurrection of the just and the unjust is bodily, physical and simulataneous… as Jesus said:

“Marvel not at this: for the hour is coming, in the which all that are in the graves shall hear his voice, and shall come forth; they that have done good, unto the resurrection of life; and they that have done evil, unto the resurrection of damnation.” – John 5:28-29

The Chapel teaches damning heresy regarding the resurrection of believers. They sneak this one in under the radar as they assail the pre-trib rapture doctrine…

As an aside, students often attack me as a pre-tribber. This is an absurd reflex response. I was raised Church of Christ and have NEVER believed in it to this day.

The teaching of a NON-PHYSICAL resurrection of believers is vintage doctrine of devils. Whenever you see someone teaching these things you have a bona fide wolf on your hands.

Murray made his claim to be fame by being the first televangelist to successfully assault the pre-tribulation rapture. It worked well for him, but as we’re about to begin to see he has used this as a method to jam a whole host of false doctrines down his students throats.

In any discussion of the rapture the debate comes back to a correct interpretation of Thessalonians 4:13-17. I will list the passage, explain Murray’s interpretation and then the correct understanding of the passage.

“But I would not have you to be ignorant, brethren, concerning them which are asleep, that ye sorrow not, even as others which have no hope.” – 1st Thessalonians 4:13

Paul is going to tell us about the state of the dead, particularly those who are redeemed, and what awaits…

“For if we believe that Jesus died and rose again, even so them also which sleep in Jesus will God bring with him.” – 1st Thessalonians 4:14

Murray is going to assert that those who sleep in Christ receive their spiritual resurrection at death and those who alive at Christ’s coming are to receive a spiritual resurrection at the 7th trumpet.

At the time of death, flesh body goes back to dirt forever, case closed according to the Chapel. The bodily resurrection happens AT the second advent. It is not merely a spiritual resurrection and it includes everyone both the just and unjust.

The resurrection is physical and happens when Jesus Christ comes back at the end of the age…

For this we say unto you by the word of the Lord, that we which are alive and remain unto the coming of the Lord shall not prevent them which are asleep…” – 1st Thessalonians 4:15

Murray unequivocally states: we won’t prevent, or precede them because they are already in heaven in their resurrected spiritual bodies. A subtle lie is taking place here that we need to unwind. This text is saying that WHEN Christ returns the order of the resurrection will be as follows:

1.) The resurrected bodies of the deceased saints will be caught up first, a physical resurrection…

2.) Those who are alive will be caught up soon afterwards at the time when Christ returns…

This is not what Murray is teaches at all. They essentially use this text to cram in a whole host of dangerous false doctrines while at the same time exposing the pre-tribulation doctrine.

For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first:” 1st Thessalonians 4:16

Murray interrupts that the last part of that verse is parenthetical and points back to what he says happens when the believer dies. For him the dead in Christ are RAISED when they die, not when Christ returns. And that their resurrection is merely spiritual.

This whole teaching wreaks of Gnosticism…

The passage is very clear – at the time of Christ’s return, at the last day, the dead in Christ will be resurrected bodily for all to see… THEN those who are alive will be caught up. There’s more…

Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord.” – 1st Thessalonians 4:17

They distort the bible to infinity. Murray asserts that the word “air” means another dimension, or the breath of life. And that the word “clouds” means a throng of people. That simply to say that the believers alive when Jesus comes back won’t meet the Lord in the air or be caught up into clouds but will be translated into a spiritual body/dimension while on earth… and thus begins the Murray’s millennium, which is none other than the Golden Age of Gaia or the antichrist millennium.

In closing: All, just and unjust are resurrected physically at the time of Christ’s return. The order of the resurrection being the dead in Christ first, then those who are alive.

Murray teaches that all believers are spiritually resurrected at death the flesh body being no more than dung never to be considered by God again. Murray teaches that believers who are alive will be raised spiritually to a new plane of existence while here on earth with the air representing a new dimension and the clouds a throng of saints…

If you’re trapped in this cult I beckon you to shake yourself free and pray for God to open your eyes to this deception.
