Flaming Guano Batman, We’ve Solved the Batcreek Stone…

Bat Creek Mound Tablet

“Peer reviewed work of Mary Kwas and Robert Mainfort has demolished any claims of the stone’s authenticity. Mainfort and Kwas themselves state ‘The Bat Creek stone is a fraud.’ ” – Kenneth Feder, hoax expert

Ah, the Batcreek Stone. Unequivocally the sheerest of archeological frauds that Murray is found supporting…

Though I never took much interest in the archeological meanderings of Murray he was trying to establish something very important to his teaching. He wanted solidify the notion that the Hebrews came to the Americas and left evidence behind…

I mean, if they made it to America, how much more easily did they make it to Britain as well?

But is that so? And what about this Batcreek Stone which was claimed to contain Paleo-Hebrew writing thus proving the migrations of the ancient Hebrews?

The British Israelist’s want to convey the image that ancient Israelites swarmed to every corner of the globe and that the chiefest of these destinations was to be found in the new promised land itself, Britannia…

One key facet of Anglo-Israelism is the premise that the descendants of Judah’s son, Zerah, split off from Israel and migrated rapidly to the England arriving around 1,000 B.C. – Pharez as you recall was the firstborn of Judah but Zerah stuck his hand out first recieving the scarlet thread thus laying claim to blessings of kingship.

Folks, British Israelism and the Batcreek Stone are frauds. Murray presumes to demonstrate his expertness in the ancient Hebrew language by interpreting a con which he takes to be true… the following video exposes the fable of the Batcreek Stone and Murray’s unique penchant for distorting the Hebrew to prove his pet doctrines.

“Foundation” of Sand: Bullinger’s Katabole, Overthrow or Rebellion

bullinger

“In the beginning God created the heaven and the earth. And the earth was without form, and void; and darkness was upon the face of the deep. And the Spirit of God moved upon the face of the waters.” – Genesis 1:1-2

To understand the Shepherd’s Chapel you’ll need to understand the influence of 19th Century theologian and hyperdispensationalist E.W. Bullinger. He was the one that originated some of Murray’s more pivotal false doctrines.

Case in point, the Gap Theory and the KATABOLE… which I consider to be foundational Chapel teachings.

Frequently you’ll hear the Chapel make reference to the “three earth ages” – the one that was, is and is to come. This model is simply not biblical.

In the New Testament Jesus Christ is VERY clear, there are only two ages: the one that is and the one that is to come…

This World (Gen 1:1)     Timeline of Events
World to Come (Rev 21, 22)

twoagemodel

We can see that this is completely different from Bullinger’s model of three earth ages. This is taken from 2nd Peter…

“For this they willingly are ignorant of, that by the word of God the heavens were of old, and the earth standing out of the water and in the water: Whereby the world that then was, being overflowed with water, perished:” – 2nd Peter 3:5-6

Bullinger and Murray teach that the whole world was destroy by water in the gap between Genesis 1:1-2, prior to the six days of creation. Folks, it is very plain what Peter is talking about here…

It’s the antedeluvian world that perished by Noah’s global flood! Now you can understand why the gappers grasp to make the Noah’s flood a local event because evidence does in fact corraborate such a global flood. Do you see how catastrophic this error is now?

COMPANION BIBLE. APPENDIX 146. “THE FOUNDATION OF THE WORLD.”

To arrive at the true meaning of this expression, we must note there are two words translated “foundation” in the New Testament:

(1) themelios, and

(2) katabole.

The Noun, themelios, occurs in Luke 6:48, 49; 14:29. Acts 16:26. Rom. 15:20. 1Cor. 3:10, 11, 12. Eph. 2:20. 1Tim. 6:19. 2Tim. 2:19. Heb. 6:1; 11:10. Rev. 21:14, 19. It is never used of the world (kosmos) or the earth (ge). The corresponding Verb (themeliou) occurs in Matt. 7:25. Luke 6:48. Eph. 3:17. Col. 1:23. Heb. 1:10 and 1Pet. 5:10. The verb is only once used of the earth (ge). Heb. 1:10. A comparison of all these passages will show that these are proper and regular terms for the English words “to found”, and “foundation”.

The Noun, katabole, occurs in Matt. 13:35; 25:34. Luke 11:50. John 17:24. Eph. 1:4. Heb. 4:3; 9:26; 11:11. 1Pet. 1:20. Rev. 13:8; 17:8; and the corresponding Verb (kataballo) occurs in 2Cor. 4:9. Heb. 6:1; and Rev. 12:10. A comparison of all these passages (especially 2Cor. 4:9, and Rev. 12:10) will show that kataballo and katabole are not the proper terms for founding and foundation, but the correct meaning is casting down, or overthrow.

Consistency, therefore, calls for the same translation in Heb. 6:1, where, instead of “not laying again”, the rendering should be “not casting down”. That is to say, the foundation already laid, of repentance, &c., was not to be cast down or overthrown, but was to be left — and progress made unto the perfection. Accordingly, the Noun katabole, derived from, and cognate with the Verb, ought to be translated “disruption”, or “ruin”.

The remarkable thing is that in all occurrences (except Heb. 11:11) the word is connected with “the world” (Gr. kosmos. Ap. 129. 1), and therefore the expression should be rendered “the disruption (or ruin) of the world”, clearly referring to the condition indicated in Gen. 1:2, and described in 2Pet. 3:5, 6.

For the earth was not created tohu (Isa. 45:18), but became so, as stated in the Hebrew of Gen 1:2 and confirmed by 2 Pet. 3:6, where “the world that then was by the word of God” (Gen. 1:1), perished, and “the heavens and the earth which are now, by the same word “were created (Gen. 2:4), and are “kept in store, reserved unto fire against the day of judgment” (2Pet. 3:7) which shall usher in the “new heavens and the new earth” of 2Pet. 3:13.

“The disruption of the world” is an event forming a great dividing line in the dispensations of the ages. In Gen. 1:1 we have the founding of the world (Heb. 1:10 = themeliou), but in Gen. 1:2 we have its overthrow.

This is confirmed by a further remarkable fact, that the phrase, which occurs ten times, is associated with the Preposition apo = from (Ap. 104. iv) seven times, and with pros = before (Ap. 104. xiv) three times. The former refers to the kingdom and is connected with the “counsels” of God; the latter refers to the Mystery (or Secret. See Ap. 192) and is connected with the “purpose” of God (See John 17:24. Eph. 1:4. 1Pet. 1:20).

Ample New Testament testimony is thus given to the profoundly significant fact recorded in Gen. 1:2, that “the earth became tohu and bohu (i.e. waste and desolate); and darkness was on the face of the deep”, before the creation of “the heavens and the earth which are now” (2Pet. 3:7).

Do these arguments look familiar? They should. This is the very foundation that Murray built his system of theology upon and guess what? It is of sand…

The reason why we know the KJV translators were correct in properly translating the greek word “katabole” as foundation because the old testament is replete with references to the foundation of the earth…

“Of old hast thou laid the foundation of the earth: and the heavens are the work of thy hands.” – Psalm 102:25

…and,

“Mine hand also hath laid the foundation of the earth, and my right hand hath spanned the heavens: when I call unto them, they stand up together.” – Isaiah 48:13

The reference is obvious, it points to the events spoken of in Genesis 1:1-2. It logically follows that 2nd Peter was pointing to the same founding in Genesis 1:1-2. Therefore the KJV translators are CORRECT! Foundation is the proper interpretation…

Are you a Shepherd’s Chapel follower? Do you want to really learn what the bible means? Set up shop over this issue and dig – a landslide of error will come cascading off your mind by the grace of Christ…

What Is the Parable of the Fig Tree Really about?

the-fig-tree-and-israel

“And he spake to them a parable; Behold the fig tree, and all the trees; When they now shoot forth, ye see and know of your own selves that summer is now nigh at hand. So likewise ye, when ye see these things come to pass, know ye that the kingdom of God is nigh at hand. Verily I say unto you, This generation shall not pass away, till all be fulfilled.” – Luke 21:29-32

So Jesus just HAS to return in our generation, doesn’t he, according to the parable of the fig tree? NOPE, not at all. In fact the parable of the fig tree isn’t even about the nation of Israel being reborn in 1948 or 1967.

He could return in our generation, but it has nothing to do with what happened in 1948. Dispensationalists make much ado about political Israel being reformed. Their reformation they take as an innate proof and verification of their eschatology but it is begging the question…

The Lord Jesus Christ is not bound to the dispensational futuristic speculations of prophecy pundits.

There is a lot of bat guano swirling around these days about shemitahs, blood moons and the 70 year generation that ends in 2018. The reasoning is, Israel became a nation in 1948 and the parable fig tree states that Christ would return before the generation that saw the reformation of Israel passes away.

But it doesn’t say that. The only reason it appears that way is because the religious authorities have defined for you what the fig tree symbol represents in the parable.

The religious experts and ideologues of a certain persuasion would like you to believe certain things about the bible because it upholds their own system of power, control and self-preservation but that doesn’t make it true.

The Chapel is in the same boat with them. It’s all about gaming people with religious deception. The truth is, dispensationalism is a function of Zionism which is all about power and world domination. The Christian system of religion is being subsumed into an end-time system of apostasy and if you think the Chapel is exempt you are mistaken.

The Murray’s are heavily influenced by modern day dispensationalism and one of the “gems” of truth they give us is their interpretation of the parable of the fig tree. If you’ve studied with him for any period of time you will notice he has a lot to say about fig tree symbolism and how it relates to Israel and the end-times.

We are told that the fig tree always represents Israel in scripture and particularly in the parable. Does the bible explicitly state this to be the case all the time? No. Truth is the bible uses a symbol one time in this way, and another time that way.

In the 6th seal stars are cast to the earth as when a fig tree drops its figs… how does that have anything to do with Israel?

With many symbols people ascribe meaning to them that doesn’t exist. And one of the tricks of the religionist’s trade is to define the sheeple’s symbols for them. This is a form of mind control.

And many Christians accept it as given: the parable of fig tree has to do with Israel being reformed as a nation in 1948 or by Jerusalem being captured in 1967… since Israel is the fig tree – and nothing else!

But is that what the parable of the fig tree is about? I’m here to tell you that it has NOTHING to do with Israel in 1948. Let’s look at the passage:

“And he spake to them a parable; Behold the fig tree, and all the trees; When they now shoot forth, ye see and know of your own selves that summer is now nigh at hand. So likewise ye, when ye see these things come to pass, know ye that the kingdom of God is nigh at hand. Verily I say unto you, This generation shall not pass away, till all be fulfilled.” – Luke 21:29-32

This is a characteristic of fruit trees: WHEN THEIR LEAVES COME OUT THE SUMMER (HARVEST) IS NEAR. When you see the leaves that is a sign that the time of fruit is near, so…

When you see the signs that Jesus spoke of that attend the Parousia and the end of the age; when you see the signs then know that his coming is near.

Nothing in there about Israel in 1948.

The generation that sees the revelation of the man of sin and the signs that accompany the great tribulation will not pass away, they will see Christ return.

Will You Take Part in the First Resurrection?

Rapture-Christian

“…and they came to life and reigned with Christ for a thousand years […] This is the first resurrection.” – Rev. 20:4

I like Dennis Murray, truly I do. It pains me to have to speak out against his ministry and it’s error. I feel bad for him because of what his father taught him. I pray that he repents for his part in this madness.

Recently he reiterated a Chapel teaching that only the 144,000 partake of the first resurrection – the rest receive a second shot at salvation in the millennium only this time it is salvation by works that saves them.

TRUTH… ALL true Christians partake in the first resurrection and that there will be NO SECOND CHANCES IN THE MILLENNIUM FOR THOSE WHO TAKE THE MARK! Nor will their be a second chance for anyone after this life:

“And inasmuch as it is appointed for men to die once and after this comes judgment” – Hebrew 9:27

You see, if you have accepted Jesus Christ as your savior and the blood He shed for the remission of your sins, YOU ARE ELECT. These are they that partake of the first resurrection.

The Chapel likes to define the elect as an exclusive group distinct from the body of Christ who earned their salvation and RIGHT to be the elect at the Katabole. This is insane, I lament the people caught up in it.

“And I saw thrones, and they sat upon them, and judgment was given unto them: and I saw the souls of them that were beheaded for the witness of Jesus, and for the word of God, and which had not worshipped the beast, neither his image, neither had received his mark upon their foreheads, or in their hands; and they lived and reigned with Christ a thousand years.” – Revelation 20:4

Here John is seeing a vision of saints and martyrs who died or and/or overcame under the persecutions of the pagan Roman empire but the application is broader and points to the whole church age.

There are a vast multitude of saints who resist the beast’s mark and image, many to the point of martyrdom and overcome during the church era – these saints reign with Christ NOW AND THERE ARE MANY MORE THAN 144,000! Jesus Christ is ruling the nations with a rod of iron right now, the millennium is going on right now.

In fact, the group of saints that are referred to in the book of Revelation as the “144,000” can be taken to be a symbolic represensation of the church.

Coincidentally, the Chapel affirms that the elect cannot be harmed during the tribulation of antichrist (which he shortens to 2.5 months). DO YOU SEE THE INCONSISTENCY?  One the one hand he is saying on the 144,000 partake in the first resurrection, then he is saying they will not be harmed in the least during the tribulation. BUT JOHN SAYS I SAW THE SOULS OF THOSE WHO WERE BEHEADED.

After this I beheld, and, lo, a great multitude, which no man could number, of all nations, and kindreds, and people, and tongues, stood before the throne, and before the Lamb, clothed with white robes, and palms in their hands […] And one of the elders answered, saying unto me, What are these which are arrayed in white robes? and whence came they? And I said unto him, Sir, thou knowest. And he said to me, These are they which came out of great tribulation, and have washed their robes, and made them white in the blood of the Lamb.” – Revelation 7

Friend, these partook of the first resurrection… a vast multitude. And they were so much more than simply the Anglo-Isrealite elite with gnostic knowledge (most of those will wind up receiving the mark, being slain in the judgment and going directly to hell).

If you are caught up in the false teachings I plead with you to turn from them and turn to Jesus Christ…

William Cooper Exposes British Israelism & the NWO

The late William Cooper with incredible research and insight exposes the Shepherd’s Chapel and associated movements and teachings like the two adams, serpent seed, British Israelism and Christian Identity from the grave… and shows how the Chapel and related Identity movements are an emenation of the Rome, the London Crown Corporation and the British Empire. He shows the Illuminist Satanic conspiracy behind it all! Wake UP!

While I don’t agree with alot of Cooper’s spiritual views I do agree with him with what he presents about this regarding British Israelism and the occult…

What is the Unpardonable Sin or Blasphemy of the Holy Spirit?

unpardonable sin

“Whoever speaks a word against the Son of Man, it shall be forgiven him; but whoever speaks against the Holy Spirit, it shall not be forgiven him, either in this age or in the age to come.” – Matthew 12.32

The bible teaches that there is one sin in which there is no forgiveness, blasphemy of the Holy Spirit.

But what is that?

Most of my readers will have some level of acquaintance with what the Shepherd’s Chapel teaches about these things, here’s a brief refresher…

According to the Chapel only the “elect” can commit it during the tribulation when they are delivered up before the Antichrist to give a testimony in the Pentecost tongue. The “elect” according to the Chapel is a specific number of literal Hebrews, the 144,000.

Muray teaches that it is not possible for anyone else to commit this sin other than the elect. He assures us that he has serious doubts that any of the elect will commit this sin, though the possibility remains…

When seen for what it is we find a serious level of religious manipulation with this doctrine but I will let you decide how that is the case.

In Matthew we find the Pharisees bringing some pretty serious accusations against Jesus Christ on account of his miracles, we read…

“But when the Pharisees heard it, they said, This fellow doth not cast out devils, but by Beelzebub the prince of the devils.” – Matthew 12:24

Jesus was by the power of the Holy Spirit perfoming miracles, such as casting out devils. The Pharisees acknowledged that Christ had power but was essentially calling that power Satanic.

They were calling the Spirit that was within Christ giving him the power to do such things, Beelzebub, an unclean spirit.

Jesus gives his reasoning for how this was not so then gives them this ominous warning…

(Mat 12:31) Wherefore I say unto you, All manner of sin and blasphemy shall be forgiven unto men: but the blasphemy against the Holy Ghost shall not be forgiven unto men.

(Mat 12:32) And whosoever speaketh a word against the Son of man, it shall be forgiven him: but whosoever speaketh against the Holy Ghost, it shall not be forgiven him, neither in this world, neither in the world to come.

So on closer inspection we see that this circumstance and what Jesus is talking about has absolutely nothing to do with the so called “elect” denying the Holy Spirit the ability to speak through them during the tribulation. None whatsoever.

You have to witness the power of the Holy Spirit to blaspheme it. The pharisees witneseed this in a very powerful way and denied that Spirit.

They were calling the Spirit of Christ, an evil spirit. They asserted that the work that He did by the Spirit was a work of evil. The pharisees continuously witnessed Christ’s power to perform miracles and sought to destroy Him.

Blasphemy of the Holy Spirit is complete defiance and rebellion against the unveiled presence and glory of God… not something the Chapel’s elect do during a fictitious tribulation scenario when they refuse to speak in tongues.

Notice that Jesus doesn’t even say that the pharisees are guilty of this sin but warns them that they are in danger of committing it. It is a sin that when committed makes repentence impossible. We should seek the Lord dilegently to understand the nature of such a sin…

Murray’s teaching about the blasphemy of the Holy Spirit is sheer nonsense and obscures the true meaning of the text.

How Shepherd’s Chapel Teaching Came to Be…

tumblr_inline_mhqeolrZNK1qz4rgp

“Only inferior White women date outside of their race. Be proud of your heritage, don’t be a race-mixing slut!”
— Kingdom Identity Ministries sticker

The apple doesn’t fall too far from the tree…

In the 70’s a group of enterprising religionists of the Christian identity stripe sought land near Clarksville, Arkansas for a Kingdom Identity control center of sorts, a headquarters for a popular new strain of religion. Kingdom Identity is the term that encapsulates the theology of a far-right movement known as Christian Identity. The father of this movement was Wesley Swift. All of these men that I’m about to mention were ordained ministers of Swift.

Swift was the founder of the infamous Church of Jesus Christ Christian, California. Murray and many other Identity advocates were under his leadership and teaching heading pastorates of satellite Identity churches.

The names of those seeking to establish this nexus: Wesley A. Swift, Roy E. Gillaspie & Richard G. Butler of the Christian Defense League, Gerald L.K. Smith & Opal Tanner White, Fred Demoret and pastors Arnold B. Murray & Leeland Jandebeur.

Though their plans never came to fruition they met for several years afterwards. Many Christian Identity writings of the 1970’s came as a result of these meetings, and these writings would serve as the intellectual backbone for the movement.

Robert Butler went on to head Aryan Nations.

Fred Demoret became the pastor of Christian Identity Church in Arkansas which was pastored at one time by Thomas Robb, K.K.K (ordained by Swift).

Roy Gillaspie pastored a sister church in Bellflower and published, MEMO U.S.A.

Gerald Smith, a White Supremacist, was part of the America First Committee.  He later formed the America First Party and published the anti-Semitic, Cross and the Flag.

In 1978 Arnold Murray and Leeland Jandebeur teamed up to write The Shepherds Bible, a Christian Identity version of the bible with commentary.

“Now, who stands in Jerusalem today?.. the sons of Cain, or those who will not accept Jesus Christ. The Kenites, that founded a new nation starting in 1948.” (The Shepherd’s Bible, Commentary by Arnold Murray, 1979)

The Shepherd’s Bible embodied what would very soon afterward become the teaching of The Shepherd’s Chapel. A teaching that was formulated by this racist think-tank. Murray began to take to the airwaves with this new doctrine and he had financial backing to boot.

Newsflash! All of these Christian Identity teachers beginning with Swift taught essentially the same thing with some minor variations. And Murray went to his grave teaching it.

How much more instructive would it have been were Murray to tell us about these associations than the fantasies he put forth? But not a word. This is the crowd that Murray affiliated himself with early on in his ministry…

The apple doesn’t fall far from the tree.
